The 10k BTC
In May I bought my first bitcoins for around 2000$.
I felt I was super late to the party but I did not want to miss out totally.
Today we see a 5 digits BTC.
For a newbie like me this is still unbelievable.
I am excited to see, where we go from here.
In my 6 months in the crypto space I had some corrections which felt hard and brutal but overall it is an amazing space to take part in.
Not only for money gains but also to hopefully creating a better world.
There is a very fitting meme I once stumbled across
So just keep calm despite what will happen now and HODL
Imagine for 1000$ more BTC just has to rise now 10% more, which happend quite frequently in just a day. While I think 10k is one of the most important psychological borders we crossed it will be interesting to see how we will go from here.
Not HODLing and chasing the next hot coin was the thing which cost me the most money. The arrogance of thinking I know a lot about crypto after this short amount and knowing what a coin makes go BOOM....expensive learning experience.
What do you think?
Are we overdue to a bigger correction? Or are we going for higher all time highs from here?

no. I kept buying till 4k and as I stated I also made bad trades but also some good ones.

This is such an exciting time, indeed... I just started my first baby steps with cryptos (testing the waters and learning with very small amounts of money) and today made my first profits :-)
But in your case, wow! Super amazing for a "late to the party" entrance... let's hope Steemit (as a platform) follows a similar pattern ;-)

So I did not buy all my BTC for 2k but some :-)
I am super excited for 2018 when more and more institutional money is entering the space. Maybe the first crypto ETF even. Good times

ich eigentlich auch aber die BTC die ich zum traden habe sind atm in altcoins und fiat habe ich auch keins weshab ich einfach HODL :-)
Corrections are bound to happen and with the super speedy rise there'll be one no doubt and many in the future. With this said though, IMO, BTC can do nothing at this point but increase. This coming year the stats are predicting $100 BILLION to enter into BTC and this amount of money will make 10K look cheap.
As more and more institutional money is entering the space I totally agree with you that 10k will look super cheap in the coming years.
People like to say that if you bought BTC for 1k $ you would be a multimillinaer but often forget that you would have "lost" 90% of your money multiple times. As the marketcap is small compared to other assests still we are bound to high volatility but imo it will get less in the coming years.
Bitcoin is in the Moon!! next destination Mars :D
