The last 5 days it was quiet in the realm of flipstar.
As mentioned it was because a short holiday I tooIk without my laptop this time.
I enjoyed it.
No, "what should I post?"
No,replying. No, checking how to the post is doing
No nothing.
With the magic of vote selling through @minnowbooster I earned some SBD and my voting power did not get wasted.
The funny thing is I did not even this much less if I would have been posting.
So, yes the question came up again should I just rent out my steem or sell my votes?
Short vs long term growth?
Can you grow enough to "make up" for the time you put into this platform?
How you measure success financially here? Do you have to make up 10 x your own vote per day? Is posting otherwise not worth it?

I hear a lot of people saying not to use bots, not to delegate for profit and blah blah. I say as long as you are not hurting the platform, do your best to grow here.
I respect your opinion completely. That is the freedom of blockchain, isn't it? Of course choosing to come back after a break also makes more sense than exhausting yourself till burnout. Obviously one has to make a logical decision to make a living while they take a break. So delegate if the need arises.

that is the question...is vote buying hurting the platform? Atm I tend more towards yes. While delegating, most of the time the SP gets used in the "traditional" sense of upvoting others and yourself if you give it to a bot it only comes out to play if you pay for it, which I dont like.

On the other hand there is also the issue of what does a person do when they take a break. I agree to what you discussed in the video. It would be difficult to completely cutoff income/side income for a few days. Short term delegation might actually be necessary for people who want to take up steeming full time.
Long term delegation would definitely affect the platform adversely. Even then there is the side debate that maybe somebody wants to delegate only a portion of their SP for long term while maintaining rest with themselves. I guess in the end a person would weigh these and other arguments personally to come to a fruitful conclusion as to the effects of their decisions on the Steemit community at large.
I think it's great you resist the short term easy money through boosters and plan on sticking around here ;)
For me it's the same and I hope it will have been a successfull decision for both of us when we look back at this point in a few years from now.
I will use it probably for vacations etc but not delegating to any boosters if I take a longer breaky maybe renting it out.
But yeah I hope the same that we look back and can say all the time we put into here paid off

Keep doing what you doing. Comment sincerly and keep going. Took me almost a year where I am now. Others achieved that quicker others took longer or gave up.

I like your unusual content, and will be missing it in case you stop blogging. It is some days hard to come up with some content but I figured out that this challenge of posting every day makes it much more easier to find content to post. And it also trains the brain a lot more that just laying in the sun :) Keep on steeming!
