You are spot on with describing steemit, it is the world, there are cesspools but there are also lots of Oasis depending on how you see and use steemit. For me I just want to see the bright side of steemit because it already had saved my life in many ways and is still is @flipstar
That is a good metaphor. I want to focus more on the good as well.
