ISLAAM IS NOT A BUFFET!
The time has come when people shop for favourable fatwa.
They are never contented any Islamic injunctions which does not suit their person and wayward desires.
They could go as far as asking different types of Sheikh a question in order to get a response that is pleasing to them.
But for how long would they continue to thread that path ?
A brother had once asked a Sheikh if it was compulsory for Men to shorten the length of their Trousers and ensure it doesn't fall below the Ankle, and after He got a response which doesn't suit him, He tagged the Sheikh an extremist and proceeded till He found someone who gave Him the fatwa He needed.
For how long would the people continue this way? Shouldn't we be a type of people who strives to be like the pious predecessors who never question what the messenger of Allaah did or what Allaah commanded through His speech?
When would we opt-out of the pool of desires and live in accordance to the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allaah?
Sometimes I ask; "is it the same Paradise the companions of the messenger of Allaah fourth, lived and died for that you and I lives on ?
Before the hour comes, its a reminder for you and I ....
