Traits of a typical Rainy Day in India

India is a very diverse country where we observe almost every season that nature has to offer. Summers and winters though cover a hefty part of the calendar, but the one which fascinates every Indian the most is the MONSOON SEASON.

In India, rainy season has some typical characteristics. Some of them are quite unique for India but others are very common with most of the developing countries of the world.

To begin with the most mind diverting feature is the conversion of roadways into waterways. India has got this unique technology since the urbanization of many cities. And yes this is exclusively available only in the rainy season. A rainy day also triggers the social nature of humans in this modern life. We can easily watch out bunches of people standing together under the sheds, sharing umbrellas and helping others in the best possible manner.

Talking about the rainy season and without the involvement of kids it couldn't be possible. They also get very motivated with the emerging waterways and it's waves. This evokes the sailor and engineer lying inside them. And thus the mass production of ships, boats and kayaks of different designs and sizes commences. They design it professionally and apply their skills to conquer the waves. Not only this, the monsoons provide the facility of personal swimming pools to the most underprivileged ones for free. You can easily see some kids having the pleasure of the deluxe facility provided by the rains.

Apart from all that, we can have hours of debate on the pros and cons of the rainy season. But according to me, for some it can ruin the day and for some (farmer) it can make the entire year.
