What follows is a recap of the broadcast.

Greetings and Introduction.

Heyyy everybody, welcome to my brand new show Spice4Life. It is Hope coming to you live from the beautiful and sunny South Africa! That was my new intro song by Jimmy Cliff a cover of the song I can see clearly now. It was originally sung by Songwriter(s)‎: ‎Johnny Nash in 1971.
This Reggae‎, ‎soul‎, ‎funky song was released June 23, 1972.
The version that just I played was by Jimmy Cliff and comes from the movie Cool Runnings and also the Album Cool Runnings.

The film was released in the United States on October 1, 1993. It is loosely based on the true story of the Jamaica national bobsleigh team's debut in competition during the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The film received positive reviews, and the film's soundtrack also became popular with Jimmy Cliff's cover of "I Can See Clearly Now" reaching the top 40 as a single in nations such as Canada, France, and the UK.

So you may wonder what happened to Romance on the Air? Well, I almost wrote 200 Love and marriage posts and I decided I need to broaden my horizons.

But before I tell you more let start the show with some feel-good grooves by The Black Eyed Peas. I gotta feeling Released: 2009 Genre: Pop

So what will Spice4Life be about?

I will chat about everything and anything regarding life. I want it to be a positive and motivational show. Life is not so easy and some topics may also be not light but in the end, after the show, I want you to feel motivated and inspired to tackle the week ahead.
Love and marriage will still feature as for some of us it is a big part of our lives but there will be lots of other topics to discuss and lots of music to listen too.

Remember I am no counsellor, I am just passionate about life, I believe everyone deserves love and happiness, I still believe in true love, marriage and family. I base a lot of topics on my own beliefs and life experience and I am a lover of inspirational, motivational and self-help articles and books. I also believe today we have the resources to help us with any problem that we experience and that if you have problems you should seek help.

Also. I apologise as English is not my mother tongue and sometimes I struggle a bit with finding the right word or my pronunciation might be a bit off but I am trying my best.

I am playing next for you a song by the band REM - Everybody Hurts, which was released in 1992 and the genre is Alternative/Indie. It was nominated for a Grammy Award for the Best Music Video.

My faith in God and this song carried me through the most difficult time in my life when my late hubby was terminally ill and dying I made a part of the lyrics of this song my motto.

When you're sure you've had enough
Of this life
Well hang on
Don't let yourself go
'Cause everybody cries
And everybody hurts sometimes
(Lyrics Everybody Hurts)

So today I will chat about the problem of living in a fast-paced world and one of the solutions for it!

The problem

Life is full of ups and downs, of hilltops and valleys but we are beautifully created, we have all the tools to be resilient and come out on top in all circumstances.
One of our biggest challenges today is the fast-paced life we are in. We are caught up in a whirlpool of activity and business and sometimes we feel we are drowning. People are aspiring to make more money and be more successful and they are getting out of control in their behaviours but most of the time they think that is normal.

They live, but real life is passing them by, they look without seeing, love without feeling, think without reflecting on the deeper things in life.

.
The next song tell us what life is really about. It is about people, life is not about things, it is about persons and relationships. If we only have things our lives will be utterly empty.
It's by an artist I only discovered today while compiling my playlist. Birdy is an English musician and released a cover version of the following song People help the People in 2011. The genre is Indie/folk.

The Solution - How do we slow down in this crazy rat race that we are living in? One way to do it is as they say; to stop and smell the roses!

To enjoy beauty makes life more positive and beautiful. It represents a place of simplicity and an escape from the hectic pace of life.

Life is difficult, read the first three words of M.Scott Peck's classic, The Road less travelled.

Peck is right, but life is also filled with an amazing amount of beauty.
As said life is not easy everyday and it is easy to allow the frustrations, challenges and disappointments of everyday life to distract you from all the beauty surrounding you. Sometimes it's even hard to see the beauty. As life is about people you need to share the beauty with each other people. Your spouse, your children, your family and friends. This will enrich your life. It brightens your day, heightens your closeness and intensifies your love. The more you focus on sharing the beauty in life, the better the most difficult situations will appear.

In order to enjoy the beauty around you, you will need a strategy. Moving to a Tropical Island will be one way to discover beauty, but for most of us, that is not possible. You must develop an attitude of being open to all that is beautiful. If you have an attitude toward the beautiful, you will find that it is contagious. If you focus on it and nurture it, sooner or later the people around you will succumb to its powerful force.

  • So check your attitude.
  • Open your eyes and ears.
  • Discover the beauty around you.

Jason Mraz is next up with his pop/folk song Living in the Moment. He may have discovered a secret because to live in the moment you must also slow down and not rush to the next thing but enjoy the moment that you are in.
After that Joy Williams with a pop song, Sunny day.

There is so much beauty in the Creation around us every day.

You just have to make time to enjoy and appreciate this beauty. Sunrises and the ocean are very special for Scotty777 and I. Whenever we make time to go see the sunrise together it made for special moments of togetherness. We love the ocean, whenever we lay on the beach and swim in the sea it brings us closer together as it something we both appreciate and enjoy so much. So whenever you make time to enjoy the beauty alone or with someone else you will also experience the goodness and positiveness, it brings into your life.

Some of the most beautiful things in nature are:

  • Sunrises and sunsets
  • The Ocean
  • Coral reefs
  • Clouds and rainbows
  • Icebergs
  • Snow
  • Mountains
  • Land animals and sea animals
  • Birdlife
  • Lightning
  • Waterfalls
  • Caves
  • Jungles
  • Deserts
  • Storms
  • Lagoons and Lakes
  • NIght skies, the moon and the stars
  • Plants, trees, flowers and fruit.

I will now play a song by Chris August - The Maker. He sings about the beauty of creation and the Creator
It was released in 2015 and the Genre is Christian/Gospel.

Every season brings its own beauty.

God's natural creation changes from season to season. In the spring, green buds appear on the trees and the music of birds fill the air. Warm showers invite flowers to blossom everywhere. In summer you will see a whole new arrangement of flowers blooming. In Fall the ground is covered with a Kaleidoscope of colouring leaves.
You in the audience tell me what is for you the most beautiful thing in nature and the season you love most.
For me, it's the ocean and summer. I just love the ocean and I love summer. It makes me feel energetic and alive. In the winter time, I just want to stay in bed.

Enjoying the multifaceted beauty of nature together involves sharing your experiences using all five senses.

  • Seeing the full moon stand strong on a canopy of sparkling stars during a romantic night.
  • Hearing the morning song of birds outside your bedroom window.
  • The soft touch of your lover's hair on a lazy summer day.
  • The clean smell of the forest after an afternoon walk in the rain.
  • The sweet taste of fresh strawberries.

God gave you five senses to share His beauty with others. This is a wonderful area that brings great enjoyment and makes for wonderful memories with your spouse, children, family and friends.

Next up an old classic What a wonderful world by Neil Armstrong and then we will listen to Harry Styles - Sign of the times which was released in 2017 it's pop/rock. I don’t know if he knows it but what he is singing is very true for our day and age that we live in. Some of us do believe that we are living in the end days. You can listen to @globocop on his shows as he frequently talks about what is happening in the world and what is coming or currently unfolding pertaining to the New World Order etc. If you want to know what the heck we are talking about see his link below.

So my Love and marriage topic for the day is in line with the previous segment:

Our busy lives is also a sign of the times but we have to find ways to still connect with our spouses.

As I went on to share my previous Love & marriage post I am not going to write it all here again.
