You made very valid points, and it's the kind of discussion that people should take part in, whatever their race. I am not American, but as an African who grew up in the UK, I had never experienced blatant racism. I believe Americans of all races need to have a healthy dialogue about this because as far as I can see, there are two sides and things are not as black and white as they seem!
