According to the DG ISPR, the recent terror wave is linked to the Afghan crisis.
Maj Gen Babar Iftikhar, Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), stated on Saturday that the rising number of terrorism incidents and attacks on security personnel in Afghanistan was linked to the country's evolving political scenario.
The ISPR chief was questioned in an interview with TV channel 92 News if the latest wave of terrorism was linked to the situation in Afghanistan or if local organisations like the proscribed Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan and the Balochistan Liberation Army were behind it.
