The teaser for the film, which is directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, follows the first stills from the film (see gallery at the end of the post) that were revealed earlier this week and, following those images, re-emphasises that Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette will return as Sidney Prescott, Gale Weathers and Dewey Riley.
The new Scream film promises to mix new characters with the aforementioned familiar faces. All to set the stage for a new instalment of this popular horror franchise.
This new film will simply be called "Scream" and will debut during January 2022 in the cinema.
New characters that will be played by actors such as Jenna Ortega, Melissa Barrera, Jack Quaid and Dylan Minnette.
