Surely not, itโs a desert ๐ต๐ซ๐ช (you see these are the emojis I got when I typed โdesertโ ;)) , but actually more ๐ฆ and donkeys in Atacama desert.
If donkeys are found in such a desert, just from my perspective it should look less extreme compared to Sahara (where I 've not been yet), Thar desert between Rajasthan and Pakistan (where I 've been once and rode the camel) and Australia where there are no donkey. I guess you see them close maybe you rode the camels and/or the donkey. About me, I rode a donkey, yes but close to my hometown :) :) just once.
