Brown Shrike Wildlife Photography - Photo Friday Entry
Hello, friends!
This is us, me and the brown shrike on a twig, joining the Photo Friday weekly competition.
Those were taken with my Canon EOS 40D camera and 70-200 4L lens at F 4.0 Aperture. From a close distance, relatively. My experience so far has taught me shrikes are generally of the more relaxed types of birds and they do not run as much as others. Which does not mean they don't keep a distance. It's just a smaller one than usual. And they do not set to wing as soon as you try to level your lens with them.
Good luck and have fun!
Yours,
Manol

Thanks. To think that it's also the name of one of the greatest monsters in sci-fi...
