Qurator's Photo Friday Competition #120 - Aproaching the Towers
This is Torres del Paine National Park, southern Chile. The granite pillars of Torres del Paine is seen in the background. These pillars rise vertically more than 2000 m. above the Patagonian steppe. Most people come to see these towers, but when the weather is clear the azure lakes, hiking trails, foreests, rivers and glaciers offers panoramic views everywhere. It is a place of so much natural beauty. I did stay several days to be able to do some hikes. In the foreground of the photo the guanaco.
