Speaking of veggie burger. Just the other day I ordered a sandwich de verduras y papas fritas—vegetable sandwich and fries. I thought I’d get vegetables in between two slices of bread—nope! I even asked if they’re grilled, “si!” They brought me one of those pre-fabbed veggie patty weird looking, perfectly sliced, pinkish colored things!
Uhm... 🤔 I guess what I meant to order was ‘vegetales asadas sobre pan’ which is grilled vegetables on bread—danget!
Well that sounds like an unexpected surprise! Haha, always learning something new there it sounds. My friend ordered the quinoa burger a few weeks ago when we went out, but the waitress was very clear that it was an inside out burger. So the bun was actually the quinoa burger patties and the toppings were inside. She said it was delicious but was really happy the waitress explained it well because the menu didn't really clarify it.
