This is probably one of the most powerfully accurate quotes I have ever read, yet the one where its "instruction" is often not implemented. When we are young, we are like clean canvasses - super heroes in the making if you will. We believe we can be and do anything - no matter how far fetched. Doubt, is seldom a part of our lives as kids.

As we grow older however, and we are exposed to "life" - that gradually changes... or diminishes rather. Suddenly we are not quite as daring and carefree... and are also a lot less willing to "step into the unknown" for fear of, well - often many things... Fear of failure, fear of rejection, fear of humiliation - and the list goes on.

This is something that we need to learn how to change - one action, moment or incident at a time.

There is another quote that I often like to refer to... "Do one thing everyday that scares you". If this is practiced, then suddenly you start to notice that you are willing to step outside of your box and try new things - and the best part of that all, is that you will generally discover how much you enjoy these new discoveries and ultimately acknowledge just how much you have been missing out on.

There is nothing worse than the regret of missed opportunities, especially if they are/were something that we have/had a passion for.

It is NEVER too late to turn things around or change the direction of your course.

I am a total sucker for anything motivational and/or inspirational, I often spend a good amount of time browsing quotes online to share with followers on various other platforms so I figured why not make it a daily habit here on Steemit too :)

Despite the fact that I am a complete and utter tech junkie and I love so much about our modern world - (yes, there is a lot that I DON’T like as well… but keep up people… this is a happy hippy post), I have often considered the fact that I might have been born in the wrong era.

I have an insatiable love for anything 60’s!

So here I sit - in the 21st century, perhaps minus the bell bottoms but definitely not without the happy spirit, excessive array of colour (everywhere) and juuuuust a few gadgets to boot…he he!
