Yes, because you are wiser than me and not so stubborn - I always tend to discuss everything until the end ... sometimes successfully, that means that both profit by learning from each other, but sometimes I also exaggerate and finally annoy the 'counterpart'. :)
Does it mean, one should not try to help the ones who are confused, because anyway it will not change anything? ;)

It means one should not try to convince a non believer after an attempt.. At least that's how I would do :)
