The story is told of a fisherman who woke up one beautiful Saturday morning and went on a fishing expedition. So anytime he caught a very big fish like this, he threw it back into the water; caught a small fish like that, he threw it into his bag and this went on and on for a long time.
So man was watching him and wondering why he puts the big fishes back into the water and the small fish into his bag. The fisherman said ' you won't understand; am a widower and have got only this 6cm frying pan in my kitchen, so I kept the small fishes and threw back the big fishes into the water because they won't fit into my pot'
This is a short but a remarkable story. Many of us are just like the fisherman and we can't seem to fit some big miracle, talents, knowledge or even personality into our world.
We'v got this 6cm-short mindset, mentality or attitude that makes us believe we can't have that nice car we cherish, or live in that big house we love to walk past every day, or oh I can't attract such a hot girlfriend or date like my friends do, just a tip of the iceberg, the list is endless.
And this release negative energy that makes us feel inferior, anxious and make us threw away, back into the waters, some big opportunities that would have set us on the map to achieving our dreams of getting this nice car or that dream home or maybe some hot dates, hereby depriving ourselves of life's many goodies.
Don't be that 6cm-short fisherman who couldn't figure out how to make his pan fry big fishes while yet hunt for them. Cultivate the habit of change to suit your world because change is the only permanent thing in life
Let the thinking man advice you to break that big challenge into small cradle steps and learn to move at your own pace! A CHANGE PACE!
