hii @jwolf, nice contest, very simple question but a,little tricky. i saw your post late. the 2nd equation pictures of oranges have different. it looks like (1/4+1/2 oranges)+ (1+1/2 oranges) + (3 bananas). i think that images is not so clear.

The correct answer is 31.333
Here's a hint on how to solve.
Solve for a
3a = 30
Solve for b
3b + 3b - a = 2
Solve for c
.75c + 1.5c + 3b = 18
Solve
a + 2b * c = ?
For those who don't know why the answer is 26, you can check it here.
Although, it's tricky at the last, It's not hard at all. I can solve equations like this within few seconds.
