The Oldest Looking Dog I Have Ever Seen
I saw the oldest deadest looking dog I have ever seen today that’s still alive.
It can’t walk at all so has been here for weeks. I hope it has had some love in its life. Sad to see such immobility yet it provides contrast and gratitude for health and well being.
I didn’t think it could move at all, but then it slowly lifted its head. Nothing else in the body ever moved. I have never seen a dog lay like that. The owners had been gone for a while and there was just a property guard there to watch the place.
Life is fragile and the body mortal. Yet there is a force that is eternal. I am grateful for the life I have and the soul beyond.
Be grateful for what we have.
Awwwww....I just want to love that dog! I'm surprised it picked up its head too. I imagine there are lots of people in that situation, we just generally tuck them away in nursing homes where no one can see them. Life is fragile indeed. May we continue to count our blessings! The oldest dog I ever had the pleasure of meeting was my neighbours labrador Geri. She was 21.5 when she passed, a wise dog and ready for the next path in her journey. Thanks for sharing @quinneaker!

Yes I said it was sad.
I tried to talk about it but the owners were not there and was inside the guard area.
It does get food at least but can’t move.
