Do you think steemit.com will increase in popularity, and its cryptocurrencies to increase in value?

To the financial experts and experienced users of this interesting new social media platform,

As I am (very) new around here, I would just like to see the opinions of the people who use steemit.
Do you think this site will become more popular in the near future, maybe becoming as prominent as Bitcointalk in the crypto community? If so, how long do you think it will take for this to happen? Or do you think that the site is nearing its peak in users?
Do you see STEEM and SBD becoming altcoins that can rival already existing cryptocurrencies, can you see it even becoming so valuable that it could make it into the top 5 in the future? Or do you think that a STEEM crash is imminent?

My opinion is that this site, as it is such a great idea, will become more popular and could rival Bitcointalk as a forum and that its currencies will rise in value with the popularity of the site.
I'm very interested to hear anyone's views on this matter.
