Where Can We Find Answers To Life's Big Questions?
One day I came across a christian tract with the above as heading. There are several life events that usually leave us helpless looking for answers to the underlying cause of such events. Like why would someone die at the edge of his/her breakthrough?.
Why would certain sicknesses and diseases remain incurable?
The sudden miscarriage of a pregnant woman, the occurrence of unsuspecting natural disasters, the heartless massacre of people by fellow humans, the unspeakable crimes happening everyday at different places, the disappearance of August break, the inability of humans to fix the prices of cryptos at a steady price etc.
Why bad things happen to good people? Why do some people get born with disabilities?
Will suffering ever end? Is God to blame for our suffering? What happens when one dies? What is the meaning of life?
Where lies the answers? Are the answers found in science, philosophy or the Bible?
Are the answers found in theories, hypothesis or magic? Can our thoughts, intuition and beliefs influence the answers? Does religion have a part to play in this?
If you ask me, I would say my answers would be limited and might be filled with some level of bias as well. What do you think?
The answers to life's big questions is found in the lips of the author of life Himself. Some questions are beyond what science knows. Philosophy may try but we may not be satisfied with what we get as answers. The author of life should be our first point of contact, not last.
The answers lie everywhere; science, philosophy, nature, religion...waiting to be uncovered by the earnest seekers. As you continue on your quest, your path will be enlightened and you'd find truth.
Brother... I have been asking these questions too for a while and the answers seem far away..
Sometimes, an attempt to answer them brings more problems.
The worst part of it is that science and religion are sometimes like cats and dogs, they usually do not agree at all.
If you think you can answer a question from your religion-based point of view, science will give you the contrary and if you try answering from a science-based point of view, religion will spoil everything.
Hmm we have to keep the questions till we get Heaven, the ask God. Lol..
