So...What Is Currently the Smallest Unit Of Steem?

Just curious to know the smallest unit of Steem there Is? Is it .00000001? Or Is It .0001? Or, Is It more than eight decimal places? This question popped into my mind as I was reading another post. Just curious if anyone out there knows exactly what It Is. Thanks-
