I believe that it is in moments of sickness that our bodies reveal their uncanny aspect. I am more aware of how my body functions now that it is not functioning correctly. My body has entered the forefront of my consciousness precisely because it is not performing as it should. I feel like I have been caught.

Some days it is worse than others.

Some days I feel incapacitated.
