Qtum started trading on Yunbi today. The price started at 7X and slowly climbed to 23X ICO price and that's where it's trading at right now. I am expecting Qtum to make a strong push with mainnet release in September. Qtum is a UTXO based smart contract platform that will compete with Ethereum, but it's based on the latest Bitcoin core and POS 3.0

Qtum POS blocks as of now (could change before release) will be 4 coins a block every 120 seconds. With staking , and tokenized projects issued on the Qtum Chain the price should see a major but gradual climb. Ether scale adoption is not far fetched for Qtum.

Qtum will not suffer from scaling issues that ETH is going through right now. There is a debate about the UTXO model and other models, but to me each approach has it's own pros and cons. From an investor perspective, I see a valid investment in all sides, as each project will have to deal with it's own cons and solve issues accordingly.

As they always say, do not put all your eggs in one basket, it will be wise to spread your investments into these smart contract platforms, as they represent the future of the blockchain tech integration into the business world.
