Qtum investors take note, ERC-20 to main net token swap is taking place on Oct 4
Get ready for the Qtum token swap on October 4
Some important and exciting news for QTUM investors. The token swap for Qtum ERC-20 tokens (that you got from the ICO back in March) for QTUM Ignition tokens that you can use in their main net wallet will be taking place in 2 days time (October 4th).
To make sure that you get your QTUM Ignition tokens, you need to get your Qtum ERC-20 token into an exchange that is supporting the token swap, these are:
All you have to do is make sure your tokens are transferred to one of the supported exchanges in time and leave them there until the swap is done.
Note: Exchanges will impose a 24 hour freeze before the actual swap takes place so you'll need to move your tokens in before the freeze.
Staking real soon
The REALLY great news for Qtum holders is, now that the main net is launching in a matter of days, you will soon be able to stake your Qtum Ignition coins because Qtum is a proof-of-stake coin whereas Bitcoin and Ethereum are both proof-of-work (mining). With staking, all you need to do is hold your coins in the official Qtum wallet and unlock it for staking only and then wait for your staked coins to roll in.
That should make a lot of folks happy, and hopefully will be a powerful catalyst for another jump up in the price.

@mikeflow thanks for that. I saw this earlier on Qtum too. An eye-popping prediction to reach $71 per coin (if it ever comes true). That would put Qtum market cap at around $4.5B and place it at around 5th place on coinmarketcap. That would be pretty crazy!
