Noordmark
Ang Noordmark ay nilikha pagkatapos ng kamatayan ng Gero the Great sa 965 mula sa dibisyon ng mahusay na Marca Geronis. Ang Noordmark sa simula ay binubuo ng hilagang ikatlong ng Marca Geronis (halos katumbas sa modernong Aleman estado ng Brandenburg) at bahagi ng teritoryal na organisasyon ng mga lugar na nasakop mula sa Wenden. Noong 983, inalis ng rebelyon ng Lutheran ang kamakailang kontrol ng mga Aleman sa rehiyon. Ito ay hindi hanggang sa ika-12 siglo na inilagay ni Albrecht de Beer ang pundasyon para sa markang Brandenburg.
