Qatar.......what do you think it looks like?
With all the talk of Qatar at the moment, many people round the world have only heard of it because of Qatar Airways, World Cup, Oil & Gas and been the richest country by capita.
They think hot, sandy, dry desert on a small peninsula in the Arabian / Persian Gulf.
I have lived here in Qatar for just over two years and loved it....yes it has its quirks, but so does every country. I am sad to moving out, but happy to still be working here and passing through every few weeks.
Samim Qazi posted this video to his Youtube channel on 5th July, and it has some stunning aerial photography and views of the country and major city Doha. From the old desert forts, to the skyline of West Bay and views of The Pearl, it might be a bit of an eye opener to many, and not how they 'picture' Qatar when they hear it mentioned.

I'd really like to visit this place!
Once they have finished the construction it is going to be an amazing place. The changes I have seen over the last 2 years alone are unbelievable, not forgetting the projects they have planned. A good time may be just before the world cup, or just after.
