OH HOW STEEMIT HAS GROWN !!!

Hello STEEMIANS! Good to be back after some time. Actually I am getting myself dirty on farming but with a tech twist. Bits of it on later posts.

Indeed STEEMIT has grown and this is not even at its full potential. With GROWTH comes challenges, and this is a fact no matter what Systems we want to scrutinize.

Hence, I will be posting a series of blogs centered on the STEEMIT blockchain, any activities worthy of a blog will be contained in this series.I will also focus on the strengths of the Python programming, and will add the simplicities of the linux shell as they complement each other.

Hope these posts can educate lots of STEEMIANS, encourage the new generation to be creative programming-wise.

STEEMIT here we go again!!!

HOW WILL ONE EVEN CHECK THE BLOCKCHAIN

As this is the first post on the subject, it may be best to describe as to how one can achieve the capabilities of tinkering the STEEMIT blockchain.

Simply listed, we need these (or at least in the approach that I took):

• a personal PC or laptop
• the STEEMIT blockchain file
• a running SQL server (I use MariaDB 10.3)
• knowledge of the PYTHON program (I use linux python 3.6)
• knowledge of the linux shell
• internet connection
• an unquenchable thirst to learn new good stuff each day
  
  
  

WE WILL ALL LEARN AS WE BLOG

If we try to examine the list above, a person who is not knowledgeable on such may simply give up. HOW I did it will be laid down here, in the simplest of terms.

These posts will target the beginners, and in so doing it is my main aim here to not only provide information on the health of the STEEMIT ecosystem, but also teach many on the basics of solving a problem using programming.

To encourage everyone to learn, just do not forget this fact that knowledge is POWER, so why not share it FREELY?

I will try to be very concise in these posts to make learning much easier for the beginners, do wait for the next installments.
