Download transactions information from Steem

in #python5 years ago (edited)

I am a man who scrupulously records everything in circulation in cryptocurrencies. When transactions are low, you can save everything in a manual manner, but when the amount of transaction increases, manual data saving is time-consuming and easy to mistake. So I created a script that helps to parse this process.

Source

The program gets from the blockchain Steem downloads data such as:

  • author rewards
  • fill orders
  • transfers

Downloaded data is saved in the MariaDB or MySQL database. To run the script you must have:

  • a computer with a Linux system
  • Python 3
  • the Steem library for Python
  • MariaDB or MySQL server

Commercial support

If you do not want to run your server, you can buy the service from me. For three dollars a month paid in cryptocurrencies you will receive:

  • full support as part of launching the service and its maintenance
  • access to the database where your information will be saved

More information on the commercial service can be found on this page, and the project itself is opensource and the project website is on the GitHub website.

For proper operation you only need your steem nickname, no keys are required.
