There seemed to be a series of patterns there, they might not all be right though ;)
3 of each color
3 of each number
Black and Purple together make 1-6
Green and White together make 1-6
Red and Blue together make 1-6
Black 1 4 5
Purple 2 3 6
Green 2 4
White 1 3 5
Red 1 4 6
Blue 3
I filled in the blanks.
I considered the positioning of the dice in the picture, there's a chain of 1-3 (with 3 blanks) and a chain of 1-6 but then a cluster of dice at the bottom that I couldn't link up.
How did I do?
You did great! Good explanation as well ;-) You've deserved an upvote! Another solution would have been:
Blue 2 | Blue 6 | Green 5
(same reasoning, but switched the color of the 5 and 6)
I've been away for a little while and only just saw this.
The reason I didn't go with your solution was that it would leave both blue and purple on 2,3,6 when no other pairs matched up, just felt wrong to me ;) OCD is a curse :)
