    The missing number is 16
    Each number x 2 = the next number jumping over the one to the right.

    1x2 = 2 3x2 =6 2x2 = 4 etc

      It should be 16.

      Every number is double of the number which is 2 place ahead.

      So, given 1 3, the next number will be 2x1 = 2
      3x2 = 6,
      and so on...

      Therefore, ... ... 8 24 _, 8x2 = 16.
