Trump is a puppet of Putin?

Apparently Trump Would-be Assassin 2.0 was radicalized because he thinks that Russia is a figure of complete evil, and that Trump is a puppet of Putin.

So, why did he pick a Soviet-style rifle?

I mean, I'm as anti-socialist and anti-communist as you can get, and I bought an AK. Still, aside from the practical reasons, I've always had an intellectual and philosophical fascination with Russian history and the Soviet Union.

This would-be assassin doesn't strike me as the type to have philosophical fascinations with his opposition. He also doesn't strike me as a person with a taste for irony.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I like the SKS platform. If you're trying to make a shot at a certain distance, an SKS is probably better than an AK. Still, you'd probably be better off with the iron sights than you would be TAPING THE DAMN SCOPE to the gun.

Still, if you're that anti-Russia, just go with an AR. Hell, go with anything else.
