The Putin Interviews

Hi there dear Steemians,

Perhaps politics bores many people, but in such interesting times we live in (haven't they said that in so many other generations before us and will after us?) so many more and more and younger and younger and adults participate in debates about key issues of our time, realizing our transient existence and value of creating a good life while we are here for more generations to come.

Politics just like Philosophy invite everyone to have an opinion and usually everyone does have opinions. To oneself the own opinion is mostly always of greatest importance and since everyone can share in political reality and philosophical standpoints, they both are very inviting topics since they do not require much except a brain and a mouth. And then most tend to forget that listening with our ears, especially for politicians, is vital, not only getting your own point across.

Party politics is basically directed to formulate a common stand, and that is always kind of inflexible and surely not the best that we can do in political organizations.

Maybe you just saw as well recently, 2 days ago, started Showtimes "The Putin Interviews" directed by Oliver Stone over the course of several years in meet ups with President Putin of the Russian Federation.

In case you have watched it too, I invite you to share some opinions on this interview and your worldview.

In my opinion, we are wasting soooooo much time, we are so inefficient handling a very intense past with a too speedy to handle present (at least with our current political organization, well you got to work with what you have and make the best out of it) which hampers us to shape our future together cause all those interests of so many different people, groups and what not, clash continuously with one another and that cannot be easy. Maybe blockchain technology and what not, will help us if we all consent to something that works for all of us, till then....

A road map that most can agree on, yes that is already in place, followed slowly and steadily towards the goal of a one human family living in peace with our evolutionary relatives on our blue planet. We all want to have a good life, but that is not enough. Especially the public is not aware enough, or has enough choices to go with, most just have no time, they have kids, they have every day problems like everyone and while we know all that, we follow the news who not only often forget their educational responsibility and are stuck with their newest headline, which too often, makes people just too often, indifferent. And then people conform to what is being decided while the economic activities become the centre of our lives which is very important but certainly not everything.

Now the President of Russia is someone who does not shy away from answering hours and hours of questions of global media which is not common among leaders of states and has shown his openess for interviews to get his views across and now Mr Stone, in his own right as director, aims to give the US and international viewer a closer look. Not unbiased, but hey, he is the director.
Without any judgement, this I can recommend and it is valuable to watch for the entire family.
