Explaining: pura vida
Sometimes tourists come to CR and love the 'pura vida' saying but do not really embrace the real meaning of it.
What does being pura vida mean?
Well, let me getting started by explaining what today was going to be but how is it actually developing. Woke up sort of early to get ready to come for a doctor appointment and everything was going well... Pura vida!
I showered Sofia with my mom's help and it was one of those mornings that you feel blessed, coffee brewing and every corner of the house was penetrated by the sweet and tasty coffee smell. There was a sudden sound that broke the silence around 7:40 in the morning.
Daddy took Sofia for a sun bathing before taking care of her belly and fully dress her for the rest of the busy day. Breakfast was amazing and then we head to the busy roads full of traffic. You know everything was Pura vida!!!
There was the sun warming paradise as they say in Radio Dos 99.5 read it with Spanish with high American accent influence, it is a great radio station whatsoever specially because most of the music is aimed for retirees and expats living in Costa Rica. Anyways I know we were doing great regarding timing and how fast we could get to the doctors office.
And just like the old Pokemon games a wild car debris appear in the road putting our whole trip at risk, I couldn't break or drive through it without a small part of it hitting the rear left tire, I thought we were good but once we got the 'high way' or just the faster 3 lane road as we commonly say ( as if you come to visit us will notice our joke roads, high ways and pretty much every transportation infrastructure is just tiny and funny) I started to hear some ptssss ptsss sound and then I had to pull over and get out to review the whole situation. Still everything was Pura vida!!
4 cars got closer and offer help, in less than 10 minutes we had the spare tire in place and just head back to the road. We got 15 minutes late to the 10 o'clock appointment and there was a perfect spot on the parking lot for us. Parked and checked in, and here I am writing this post about how everything is turning to be Pura vida even with a 48 minutes delay and waiting that nothing has to do with the whole trip to get here but guess what?... No one is mad or angry and everything is Pura vida!!!

Es verdad @raserrano, no es una frase hecha como algunos creen cuando critican que es "copiada" de México, nadie le ha dado el sentido ni el significado que nosotros. Ellos no entienden el pura vida la verdad. ¡Muchas gracias por compartir!
