This couple rescued a puppy with broken paws and gave him a new life opportunity

A few years ago, Lukasz Muniowski was riding a bicycle with his wife Natalia when something caught his eye. A dog's head was peeking out of a ditch beside the road in a Polish countryside. They decided to stop and soon realized that the puppy was injured.

The dog's back was strangely shaped, and its hind legs staggered and rarely touched the ground. It made Muniowski and his wife more determined to help her. After getting her out of the ditch, the couple gave her a new chance at life by adopting her and calling her Bobby.

When Lukasz finally gained Bobby's confidence, he lifted her and hugged her. Bobby was very thin and dirty, but what worried them was that one of his hind legs seemed to be hanging like a small thread.

The little girl was over a month injured

When they took her to the vet, they discovered that she was most likely hit by a car or trapped in a hunting trap. Bobby has so hurt that the vet was not sure what kind of quality of life he would have, especially since he did not have a family to take care of him. During an interview for The dodo site, the couple told their story.

The vet suggested that we leave her because there was no point in making her suffer if it was not ours. That was when we made the decision to adopt it. We looked at each other and immediately knew we wanted to have it.

One of his legs had to be amputated

The vet did what he could for Bobby but the vet was not agreed to operate bobby with broken hands, he thought it would be too risky. Muniowski and his wife sought another veterinarian who wanted to operate it, although unfortunately one of his hind legs need to be amputated, the bones of the other were repaired. When Bobby was cured, the vet prepared a stand to help her walk.

They did not think he could walk again

I remember doing as she ran when she was asleep and that made us sad because we thought she would never run again.

Now Bobby lives a happy life
