Terveet Kadet
Without radio play, without media recognition, without major label support, punkrock/hardcore still managed to become a world wide phenomenon in the early eighties. Bands were popping up in every country around the world.
Terveet Kadet were a HC band from Finland formed in 1980 and just disbanding in 2016. In that span of time they put out over 30 releases. This is from 1983.
Those were the best times, local hardcore punk bands doing all ages shows at the VFW Hall back in the late 80's, I think Punk Rock is at it's best and purest when it's local.
Yeah, i live outside of Seattle and have worked for the last 20 years collecting all the local underground music i could. I also miss the vfw hall days.
