My wife and I are going on a road trip and I stop at a rest area to get some snacks and something to drink. I use my debit card to buy a couple things and then notice that the card isn't working for the third vending machine that I am trying to get something to drink from.
My thought is, "oh, they probably blocked my card." I go back in the car and tell my wife what happened and she said, "well no shit, of course they blocked your card, we're traveling and using your card for multiple small transactions like that is how they detect fraud." Feeling like an idiot, I tell her, "well, did you know that the division symbol is called an obelus??!" She then proceeds to brag about her real-world skills. I take a moment to remind her that she still doesn't know how to use the TV. We then both vent what happened on social media.

This is why you have to make multiple LARGE transactions when you fraud a debit card. They'll never suspect it until it's too late.

👍👍👍- get a crypto credit card and you'll never get blocked, but you'll really cry why your crypto soars up 1000% 1 hour after you used it to buy a shitty expensive lunch, and get depress af when you didn't use it to buy a lovely lambo/vacation/breast-implant and it slump down 10% everyday for the next 1 month.
