Happy Pi Day
Happy Pi Day to my math geek followers in US, Greenland, Guam, Micronesia, and the few other countries who use the MM/DD/YY format. Today's date is 3/14, and Pi, the number used to calculate the circumference of a circle. Three years ago at 9:26 was even more special (3/14/15 9:26, or 3.1415926). To all of you who use the DD/MM/YY or YY/DD/MM formatting, sorry, I got nothin' for ya!

MM/DD/YY are for fools!
YY-MM-DD is my favorite. It enables file sorting by date, and is much simpler that the total number of days since 1/1/1 AD. Happy 737132 day!
happy pi day to you @swenger. Math is too difficult for me :(
We each have our unique gifts and talents, and each one of them are important. I'm sure you have many other things that are easy for you! :)
That's really cool, showing this to my kid who loves math.
Sounds like a good kid!
She is . This is her reply when I showed her your post: "I remember thinking pi day was pie day. I was very disappointed."
I can relate to that! At least it should be celebrated with pie... or cake, or cookies...
That's my kind of celebration.
