I Think That Steem's Value Is Hiding In Plain Sight

in #punchline5 years ago (edited)

I'm not trying to disguise my feelings or attack anyone, but here's my interpretation of current Steem interest on exchanges, coinmarketcap, and in the crypto community.

Maybe it'd better suit us to apply some of Steemit Inc's recent costs savings to a proper marketing budget.

Thanks,

GOOTTEEEEEMM!!!! :D

I think pal has some funding coming in allocated to do some worker proposal type of thing, but I just heard a blip about that earlier today for the first time. But, yes that's the point of the allocated inflation 10% plus I think stinc Is putting some seed money in it potentially.

What to do though? Best thing that's not exactly marketing is having a dedicated front end for the public to steem without a wallet. A test drive basically, if we can incubate these potential accounts and steer them towards communities that suit them and make steem less daunting with its epic learning curve we might get some growth.

Too much potential here to be hung up on rewards and blogging we must out grow that one dimensional view. I hate to say SMT but I said it and also we need to focus on a good mobile UI.. My two cents for now.

It's wild that a no stake having account like myself has put thought into this..

Absolutely agree with you on the desperate need for a solid Steemit mobile app.

Indeed, I clocked in over 31,000 characters on comments alone last week, all on a smartphone and/or iPad.

Due to issues with my go to dapp partiko I had to bounce between them, steempeak, and palnet.io depending on the device or buggy issue on any of the above.

Steempeak is great, has nice features and an awesome team but is a bit clunky on a mobile device. Steemit and it's clones are my last resort, and partiko has been hit and miss lately with nobody manning their project. Which is disheartening as they used to be really committed to filling this absolute must for steem to evolve in our very mobile world. I don't even own a PC and I'm a, pretty typical potential mass adopter that stumbled in here and sees no reason to leave..
