Josh Brown, asset manager and so-called Bitcoin Bull, has said in his new blog post some hard words about Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs): In his opinion, the financing model is a point "where the frauds will take place".

In his reformed broker blog, Brown repeated his position on ICO's . He also comments on the statements of West Loop Partners Jeff Carter who said "I am calling bullshit on the ICO craze".

Josh Brown writes:

He justifies this as follows: ICO-derived tokens offer no more than unregistered securities because, unlike some crypto currencies, they can only be used in conjunction with a particular app or platform.
