In public
The worst? In public? I work in the restaurant industry & after a little girl spilled her crackers on the floor, I came over to clean it up. The woman became very aggressive. Not towards me, towards her 2 year old daughter! She started screaming about how she would “teach her not to make a mess” & hauled her off to the . They came back. The mother stood her daughter on the table, instructed her daughter to apologize, not to me, but the entire restaurant.
Then, as they were leaving, the little girl tried to apologize to me, and I was very much “ Don't worry about it, accidents happen…”
The mother grabbed her child and said “ Don't talk to HER. She's not a real person. Only trash has to wait tables.”
I feel really bad for that child
