I hurt my back n I'm 28. I don't look disabled but I am. I also feel that because I'm over weight people think I'm lazy for resting after a short walk or I show sign of feel weak. It's hard. Because I park in the handicap and one older was talking about how young people just park anywhere they want to another person. I was always right to respect my elders so as she drove off I stuck my sticker out the car to show her how stupid she was.
It can be hard, as long as we stick together and we keep trying to raise awareness I think we will be in a better place. :)
