Continuando nossa série de $.50 Comemorativos Americanos, vamos mostrar hoje o 1935-S "San Diego".

Como todos os $.50 comemorativos, ele pesa 12,5g com 90% de pureza de prata.

Esta moeda comemora a Exposição Internacional Califórnia-Pacífico.

O obverso foi baseado em elementos do brasão estadual da Califórnia. Atena sentada com uma lança e um escudo escrito Eureka, um urso cinzento à esquerda, uma cornucópia à direita.

O reverso mostra dois edifícios da exposição, a Torre de Observação e o Edifício do Estado da Califórnia.

Um total de 70,132 moedas foram distribuídas. O preço atual é de cerca de U$190.00 neste grau.
