Ferdinando Carulli - Andante (EN - PT) (Dtube)
Today I share with you my interpretation of this simple piece by the Italian composer Ferdinando Carulli (1770 - 1841). Carulli's first instrument was the cello, at the age of 20 he discovered the guitar in which he devoted himself to the subsequent period of his life. His professional life with instrument was largely devoted to teaching, the formulation of his didactic method, and composition for musical works dedicated to the instrument. As a composer he was extremely proficient, he composed about 400 works dedicated to the guitar. He also worked with the French luthier Pierre-René Lacôte (1785-1855), in which he collaborated significantly to make changes in the instrument in order to obtain greater sound projection.
This version is based on the textbook "Initiation to the Guitar vol1" by Henrique Pinto, diffused in Brazil as one of the main methods of musical initiation to the guitar.

Hoje compartilho com vocês minha interpretação desta singela peça do compositor italiano Ferdinando Carulli (1770 – 1841). O primeiro instrumento de Carulli foi o violoncelo, por volta dos 20 anos de idade descobriu o violão no qual se dedicou no período subsequente de sua vida. Sua vida profissional com instrumento foi em grande parte dedicada ao ensino, a formulação de seu método didático, e a composição para obras musicais dedicadas ao instrumento. Como compositor foi extremamente profícuo, compôs cerca de 400 obras dedicadas ao violão. Também trabalhou com o luthier francês Pierre-René Lacôte (1785 - 1855), no qual colaborou significamente para realizar mudanças no instrumento com o intuito de obter maior projeção sonora.
Esta versão é baseada no livro didatico “Iniciação ao Violão vol1” de Henrique Pinto, difundido no Brasil como um dos principais métodos de iniciação musical ao violão.

Great job! Pretty refined playing! I also appreciate the historical info! A long time ago I studied classical guitar and played this! I completely forgot how to lol! I guess I have to find the sheet music and try it again! Keep up the good work!
