Nigeria, the most populous black nation in the World and the giant of Africa. A multilingual and multicultural nation that host more than 500 ethnic groups. Home of talented and outstanding men in the world, good people, great nation!

But her corridor of power is littered with blood stains from power tussles while corruption becomes the king that refuses dethronement which has made things go from bad to worse and affecting the standard of living of the masses.

Since 1999, Nigeria has enjoyed an uninterrupted Democratic rule, but the major things changing are just the political slogans instead of the lives of the citizens.
From 'Operation feed the nation' to 'The 7 point Agenda' to 'Transformation Agenda', stories were the same.

Forward to 2015 general election, the hungry and tired masses could not wait to vote out the ruling party.

Here comes the 'messiah', the indefatigable, incorruptible, experienced man who promised to restore the nation within a year in the office. This is part of the manifesto

  • Promise to reduce fuel price from #98 to #45 per litre in the first year in office
  • To build one new refinery every year with 100% working capacity
  • Free education to all Nigerians
  • To stop importation of petroleum goods in the first year in office
  • Payment of #5,000 to 25 million jobless Nigerian every month
  • pledge to wipe out corruption in the first year in office...

Majority of Nigerian could not hide their joy as many celebrated the arrival of their deliverer. Pastors canvassed for the 'messiah' on their pulpits likewise Imams to their followers thinking the anticipated change has arrived resulting in the arrival of the 'messiah' at the presidency.

It was unbelievable big slap on the face of the masses as things became tougher during the 'messiah's' reign. Propaganda!
Hunger and starvation took to the street as people were literally trading children for food.
Fuel price went from #98 per litre to #145 instead of the promised #45.
Companies started downsizing which led to retrenchment, a massive unemployment. The story goes on..

Who will help? People wonder as the anticipated 'messiah' that promised change has brought chain. Then the masses changed the acronym of the 'messiah's' party to (All Promises Cancelled).
Propaganda in the highest order! The tale of the anticipated 'messiah'

Welcome my friend

Man is supposed to be the maker of his destiny. It is only partly true. He can make his destiny, only in so far as he is allowed by the Great Power.
