There should also be a strong link between power abuse and low self-esteem. Someone who thinks badly of themselves will almost definitely inflict damage to others when found in a position of power.
@zenmotherfucker You are absolutely correct. I thought about touching on that but really it could be an entire article in and of itself. The pyshcological connection between low self esteem and abusing power. In the future I might write on that next.
