You might want to read up on the psychological trauma of infant and child circumcision. A few pointer:

• When John Harvey Kellogg introduced circumcision to the USA as means of curbing mastubation he explicitly stated to do it without anaesthesia so the pain would have a lasting effect.
• For girls who masturbated John Harvey Kellogg suggested pure carbolic acid (phenol) to the clitoris.
• A study made using MRA (magnetic resonance angiography) scans made before and two weeks after infant circumcisions found that the brain structure of the child was permanently changed.
• A study in Norway found a higher prevalence if violence, domestic abuse and rape among circumcised men.

You don't necessarily need to kill someone for trauma-conditioning.
