Your Brain - Kick asses or relax?
My brain yesterday
Trying to spread positivity is not always easy - yesterday i had a hard fight with myself - watch how i felt:
But I told my self - let go - do not let negativity control your mind
I failed and thought of a plan to attack the enemies
While the devil inside was on the toilet an angel whispered - take a deep breath
Anyone here knows that feeling when you feel arrrrgh and try to control emotions?






Yes Uwe, the deep breath is a very usable tool. It is good for stopping all urgly feelings and pain too.
Do you have pain in the big toe? A deep breath to the place where the pain is located, always helps. Breath in, deep and slowly. Imagine, you breath in, all way down to your big toe. It works. Not physically, off course, but it works.

You're welcome @uwelang. It works with every part of your body. You can breath into the tip of your nose as well.
I've never had an issue with fighting aggression but spent many years tackling panic and anxiety disorders. Mindfulness what an amazing tool to pickup and add to the old well being toolbox. I particularly found headspace (google it) very good indeed.
....struggle to do it in the morning though as it makes me fall asleep :)

Not sure I've won the battle but would say I'm winning for the time being and have been doing so for a few years.

I know what you mean. The fascinating thing is : when never need to put in any effort to start the negative patterns but it takes much effort to stick to positivity. For me this tells the story of very negative conditionig. Good for you to be breaking out.
Yeah it is a hard fight - i always try to be positive as it is what i want, sometimes the bad habits come
Usually I'm a quite woman, bus sometimes.... arrrrgh
I know that feeling when you try to control emotions, it's a hard fight! To try to control myself I go out for a walk or I move my furniture from room to room. The second choice is more tiring, but it work very well for me ;)
furniture from room to room would make me even more mad if i would be your husband :-)

I move them by my hand when he takes a nap. After, I cook pizza for him and everything is ok :D

Totally know how youre feeling. I have days (not very often) when i get so stressed and then im like a volcano exploding and then just rant about every single little thing from my brother talking to me when im trying to calm down to the newspaper not getting delivered. I normally just try to vent to someone mainly my boyfriend or go for a walk listening to music to try an chill out, hope youre in a better mood today :)
Some god plans to calm down the volcano :-)
