yes, it is the lack of self acceptance i am pointing to here. to accept that you do not know everything and that some of your logic is false, is to expose your true self and that is what is most hidden by many people. many people consider their true self to be unacceptable and so an inner struggle occurs that often just results in denial and dysfunctional habits.
