This probably explains the reason for the color of a traffic come and also the orange in the traffic lights telling the road user to "get ready".
Can one also say the color of a flame is orange?

Yes, there is a shade in the center of a flame that is orange I guess.
The traffic light is a good question, amber is between yellow and orange in my opinion, but anyways it is attention-getting, you are perfectly right.
