As a corporate shitposter, I must tell you that the shift from distanced corporate entities to engaging and personified online presence of brands is a natural evolution of marketing on social media. Brands are adjusting to the medium and the demands of the millennial customer that include those charity involvement and friendly engagement of customers. I think you and @didic are being just a touch paranoid about this.
